ABOUT BLUE 5

Blue 5 Basketball started when we realized that kids need to learn the fundamentals of basketball. That’s what drove us to build the Blue 5 Basketball App with training that’s competitive, purposeful, and effective. We bring fun and fundamentals together through competitions, drills, and mindset development that shape both the player and the person. Launching March 2026, it’s built for families who want to do it the right way: with joy, discipline, and a true love for the game.

WE WANT TO GIVE EVERY KID WHO PLAYS BASKETBALL THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET BETTER

Ryan Bacheller

Director of Operations

Ryan Bacheller is a passionate educator and sports management professional dedicated to making a positive impact on young athletes both in and out of the classroom. From 2017 to 2024, Ryan served as a physical education teacher for grades K–8 at Augusta Preparatory Day School, where he inspired students to stay active, build confidence, and develop healthy habits through sports and fitness.

Beyond the classroom, Ryan made a lasting mark as a coach, helping student-athletes grow in skill, discipline, and teamwork. He led the girls’ varsity basketball team as head coach (2023–24) and served as assistant coach for the boys’ varsity squad (2020–24), guiding Augusta Prep to three GISA region titles. He also coached cross country and soccer, with his teams winning multiple Augusta Aiken Middle School League championships.

Ryan’s creativity extended to the school’s branding and marketing efforts, where he reimagined the athletics program with a new logo and coordinated campaigns that increased community engagement. His experience in graphic design, photography, and content creation—including work featured by The Augusta Press—has helped elevate the visibility of student-athletes and school programs alike.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Ryan is committed to helping kids reach their full potential while fostering a lifelong love for sports and self-improvement.
