Prospect Placement at Blue 5 is designed to connect talented and committed players with the right college opportunities. This program is selective and accepts only a limited number of athletes in order to maintain a high level of personal attention. Acceptance is based on talent, work ethic, character, and overall fit. We do not guarantee college offers. We guarantee exposure, evaluation, and advocacy from Will Avery and the Blue 5 staff. Every accepted athlete receives direct involvement from Will including coach outreach, film analysis, and personal development guidance.

WHAT YOU GET EACH MONTH
MONTHLY COACH OUTREACH AND PERIODIC REPORTS
We contact appropriate college programs on your behalf and provide monthly updates that explain which schools were contacted and the feedback received.
FILM REVIEW TWO GAMES PER MONTH IN SESSION
Will watches your key clips from up to two games each month. He creates a focused breakdown and gives specific coaching points on what you did well and what needs improvement along with exact instructions for how to improve those areas
SKILL ASSESSMENT
You receive ongoing evaluations that guide your development and help determine where you fit at the next level.
RECRUITING GUIDEANCE
You will learn how to speak with coaches on the phone, how to ask the right questions, and how to present yourself in a confident and professional way
ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY SUPPORT
We help make sure you understand the academic standards of each level of college basketball and how to stay on the right path.
DIRECT ACCESS TO WILL AVERY OR HIS PROFESSIONAL COACHING STAFF
Regular communication and check-ins allow Will to adjust your plan, update your outreach strategies, and guide you through each phase of the recruiting timeline.
PLACEMENT ADVOCACY
We consider your interests such as preferred regions and the type of campus environment you want, but the final list of opportunities comes from the programs that express genuine interest. We communicate those schools directly to you along with the feedback we receive.
HOW IT WORKS
STEP ONE
APPLY AND SUBMIT YOUR PROFILE
You complete an application and submit your player profile which includes school information, age, grade, position, aHudl or video link, and any current interest you have from colleges. Including your transcript or key academic information is helpful.
STEP TWO
REVIEW
AND DECISION
Will and the staff evaluate your profile. If accepted, you will receive an email with enrollment instructions, payment information, and contract details. If you are not accepted, you will receive a polite decline with recommendations for the best next steps and suggestions for our online training programs.
STEP THREE
ONBOARDING
AND PLANNING
Once enrollment is complete, we create your Blue 5 player profile and map out your first month. This includes your initial development plan and an outline of which schools we will target.

MONTHLY
EXECUTION
You receive film breakdowns, coach outreach updates, development guidance, and regular support from Will.

FUTURE GUIDANCE
Once interest develops, we guide you through conversations with coaches, campus visits, and final decision making. If you are placed at a junior college, we continue to assist with the next stage of your recruiting journey.
PRICING AND ENROLLMENT OPTIONS
SENIORS IN HIGH SCHOOL
$4,500 due in full at enrollment.
ALL OTHER ATHLETES
$1,000 due at enrollment followed by $375 per month for as long as you participate. There is no minimum commitment. Services stop when payments stop.
SELECTIVITY AND EXPECTATIONS
This program accepts only a limited number of athletes each year in order to preserve the quality and personal involvement that families expect from Will and the Blue 5 team. Selection is based on talent, character, work ethic, and overall fit. If you are not accepted, you will receive a recommendation for the best path forward including online training options that will help you become a stronger candidate in the future.
PARENTS & PLAYERS
A MESSAGE TO PARENTS
You will receive clear monthly communication, honest evaluations, academic guidance, and updates on which schools have been contacted on your athlete’s behalf. The process is transparent and organized so you always know what steps are being taken.
